Vindicated! Constant Content Apologizes
If you read my post yesterday, you know that I was hurt by someone who did something malicious to me on a writing site. You can read the whole story here, including the apology letter written to me by Constant Content.
The internet is a tough room. You have every loony toon in town posting somewhere, and many times, these people cause damage to someone, sometime. Even if you try not to engage with them, sometimes they will just pick you out to harrass and berate. That’s how this whole thing started, with this person making a mean spirited remark to me on the forum that had no purpose other than to hurt me and make me look bad in front of the other people on the site.
I’ve always thought that you should try to keep personal differences private, between the two people who are disagreeing. Clearly, this does not always work, because some people are unstable, and will do unbelievable things to cause you grief.
So best just to leave it lie, and not say anything. You never know who you’re dealing with, or what pain it can cause you.

I’m sorry that happened to you on c-c - I didn’t know the story - I only saw the apology on the forums not the original thread. I think they are a little naive over at c-c on the whole running a forum thing - as you say most forums will just ban some who libels or abuses another member in public. I also hadn’t realised that the forums were open to buyers - that’s not good and I too would be more circumspect about what I post there in the future.
The man who told me about it is actually a buyer and a seller, so that’s probably why he was there. He and I also knew each other from Digital Point forums, and that’s actually how we made the deal, not through CC. He told me that the one who did it is on the site, but hardly ever posts on the forums anymore. I don’t know what happened there, and I don’t really care. I’m sorry I won’t be making you money anymore, though.
They didn’t say I could never come back. I don’t know that I would want to, maybe just to re-sell some stuff for usage, but I would DEFINITELY stay away from the forums!
